Yes. Even on the free plan there is no cap on how many you keep, no storage limit, and no expiry. Videos longer than three minutes keep their original in cold storage and come back within a few hours of a request, while a three-minute highlight always plays instantly. Partner Ultra and Ultra keep every original warm, in 4K. To prevent misuse as a general-purpose vault, uploading an extreme amount of photos and videos in a short period may temporarily limit new uploads. Ordinary use won’t come near this, and there is no limit on total storage or on how long we keep it.
Feeding, sleep, diaper, temperature and growth logs, photos and videos, family sharing and grandparent invites, Apple Watch and widgets — all free. The paid plans add AI (predictions for the next feeding and sleep, your morning brief, pattern insights, and AI search), voice logging, 4K video, the ability to create private circles, and member-only articles.
Delete your account and every piece of personal data attached to it — logs, photos, videos, growth records — is removed from our servers within 30 days. Deletion can’t be undone. Before you go, you can export your records from settings at any time. There is one exception: statistics contributed through Partner Ultra are anonymized at the moment they are collected and can no longer be traced back to you, so they fall outside deletion requests.
The Institute of LAG Research — a research institute working in AI, data science and medical research, incorporated in Delaware with its Japanese office in Fukuoka. memori is run by its media division. Articles are written by its founder, Leon Moriguchi, whose research is in computational medicine, pathophysiology and AI safety in medicine, with peer-reviewed sources cited throughout. No outside expert reviewer is involved at this time; once that is in place, reviewed articles will say so.
iPhone and iPad running iOS 26.2 or later, and Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later. You can also read everything from a browser on a computer or tablet. An Android version is in development.
Yes. Export your data from PiyoLog and import it, and you carry on from where you left off — the whole history comes across, not just today onward.
No. When one person subscribes, the benefits reach everyone in the family group — video quality and premium features included — and only the subscriber is billed. If that person cancels or leaves the family group, everyone returns to the free plan.
Cancel any time from iOS Settings; you keep using the plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Billing runs through the App Store, so refunds follow Apple’s refund policy — we don’t issue refunds ourselves.
The features are identical. The only difference is research: Partner Ultra costs less in exchange for letting anonymized parenting statistics support medical research, and Ultra — for parents who’d rather not — adds end-to-end encryption instead.
Your child’s profile has fields built for this; fill them in and Partner Ultra turns on. No paperwork, no review. Because it runs on self-declaration, declaring a condition you don’t have in order to get free access is a breach of the terms.
None. Not even on the free plan, and we have no plans to sell ad space inside the app. The free plan is paid for by the subscriptions.
Only the family group members you invite. There is no public timeline, no comments from strangers, and no like counts. Grandparents join that same family group.
It means the keys that unlock your content sit only on your device and on the devices of people you’ve approved. Data is encrypted before it leaves your phone, so the servers holding it can’t open it — it isn’t a promise not to look, it’s an arrangement where looking isn’t possible. In Memori this currently covers the text of posts and comments and the photos and videos in your album, for families that turn encryption on; care logs such as feeding and sleep, and growth records, are not yet covered and are stored on our servers. The scope can only grow with updates — it never shrinks. Album encryption is an Ultra plan feature: if no one in your family is on Ultra anymore, it turns off after 30 days, with notice in advance. Photos and videos encrypted until then stay readable on your family’s devices, and we never decrypt them (we hold no keys, so we can’t). It isn’t absolute, though. Metadata — file size, timestamps, file type, account information — is normally left unencrypted and may be disclosed in response to a valid legal request from an authorized authority. And because the key is only ever on your side, losing every copy of it means the content is gone for everyone, including us. Encryption also isn’t a shield for illegal use: where we have reason to believe the service is being used for illegal purposes, including the distribution of child sexual abuse material, we terminate the account and cooperate with law enforcement.
Yes. From settings you can export the selected child’s logs and growth data as a single file, and you can request a full export of your personal data at any time.
Anonymized, de-identified parenting statistics and scan images contributed by Partner Ultra subscribers. Anything that could identify a person is stripped out at the moment of collection, so it can’t be linked back to an individual — which is also why it is retained indefinitely and falls outside deletion requests. Nothing is contributed from free or Ultra accounts.
No. The storage is for photos, videos and records relating to the care, health and growth of a child in your legal custody. Using it as general-purpose cloud storage is prohibited by the terms.
Yes. There is a form for requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and we respond within 30 days of receiving it. If you only want a copy, you don’t need to ask — you can export it yourself from settings at any time.
Deleted photos and videos go to the trash first, and you can restore them from there. Only choosing “delete permanently” inside the trash makes it irreversible.
It’s designed for pregnancy through age twelve, though nothing stops you using it at any age — when a child is ill, for instance. There are 37 kinds of records in all: pregnancy (contractions, kicks, weight, prenatal checkups), 15 everyday ones (nursing, pumping, solids, sleep, diapers, temperature, growth, bath, medication and more), and 11 for complex care (tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen, medication, seizures and others).
Yes. Each child gets their own profile and you switch between them; records and albums stay separate per child.
The extra width gets you a sidebar, so logs, health, album, timeline and search are all one click apart instead of a screen away. iPad also has an ambient mode of its own: left out on a counter it fills the screen with family photos, with only the clock and the next thing due on top. Touch it and every sibling’s “next” lines up side by side, with nursing, diaper and sleep one tap away. Leave it 60 seconds and the photos come back.
Yes. Records are saved on the device first and sync automatically once you’re back online. Photos survive too, even if you close the app mid-upload or lose signal.
If the app isn’t an option for them, the browser is. They sign in from a computer or tablet using the three words the app shows you (something like “maple · sunspot · cherry”) and look back on a big screen. Because it’s words, you can read it out over the phone.
Every record can be edited or deleted afterwards. What you tap one-handed at 3 a.m. is meant to be fixable later — you don’t have to be careful.
Yes. The contraction timer, kick counting, morning sickness, how you’re feeling — it’s all designed so that recording it costs you as little as possible. Weight and prenatal checkup notes fit here too.
Yes. Say “log a feed in memori”, “log a diaper”, “log sleep” or “log a temperature” and it’s recorded on the spot, without the app opening. For a bottle you can say the amount too. “Open the camera” and “scan a diaper” work the same way.
Family sharing means everyone is in the same family and shares the records themselves. A private circle shares posts rather than records, and you can invite people from outside the family — grandparents, siblings, mom friends. Joining a circle you’ve been invited to is free on every plan. Creating one starts at Partner Ultra, and there’s no limit on how many you create. How many people fit in one circle depends on the creator’s plan: 10 on Partner Ultra, 30 on Ultra.
Browse the timeline, the album and the growth charts, and bulk-import photos and videos — from your computer, or straight from a camera plugged into it. Capture dates are read from the files. You can also edit captions, delete, and restore from the trash. Logging itself — feeds, sleep, everything — happens in the app on iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. Anyone you invited with a read-only pass can view but not import or edit.
No. The articles — and the predictions, patterns and growth curves the AI produces — are for information and education, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If anything about your child’s health or development concerns you, please talk to a qualified health professional.
Accuracy depends on how much you log and how consistently. The more records there are, the closer predictions get to your child’s own rhythm — but they will be wrong sometimes. Please don’t base decisions about health or wellbeing on the predictions alone.
Open the clinic view and the temperature trend, recent prescriptions, diaper counts — whatever the visit turns on — sit on one screen, ready to show.
About half of the three hundred or so are. Where we draw the line is fixed: anything that touches life, safety or health — illness, infections, emergencies, vaccination, mental health, when to see a doctor — stays on the free side, always. What sits behind membership is the developmental psychology, the learning-and-play pieces, the record-keeping craft: useful, but never urgent.
